Who we are

For the last 25 years, I’ve been working in the OUTDOOR, SNOWSPORTS, AND CYCLING industries, literally from the factory floor at Osprey Packs to running successful categories and global product lines at Black Diamond, Dakine and Chrome Industries.

I’m an expert in SEWN EQUIPMENT: things that live in the space between hardgoods (like skis & bikes) and apparel/outwear.  I’ve managed lots of different types of outdoor equipment: BACKPACKS for backpacking, hiking; alpine and backpacking TENTS, and trekking poles and CLIMBING HARNESSES. On the snowsports side, it’s been BACKCOUNTRY & AIRBAG PACKS, SNOW GLOVES, beanies & accessories, and SKI/SNOWBOARD TRAVEL BAGS too.  For mountain biking, I’ve done MTB PACKS, APPAREL, BODY ARMOR, PICKUP PADS and GLOVES. And in urban lifestyle, I’ve managed TRAVEL BAGS & LUGGAGE, some commuter apparel and even some FOOTWEAR.

I’ve created product programs from scratch, reset existing product lines, breathed life into forgotten categories and charted the course for new product category extensions. All the while, making PROCESSES RUN SMOOTHER, giving stakeholders needed VISIBILITY, and returning HIGHER MARGINS and REVENUE.

I’ve run GLOBAL TEAMS responsible for some of the MOST IMPACTFUL INNOVATIONS in the Outdoor and Snowsports Industries and all the while been a steadfast CHAMPION for SUSTAINABILITY.

My greatest skill is BUILDING BRANDS by balancing a HYPER-PRODUCTIVE CREATIVE PROCESS and a FINANCIALLY RESPONSIBLE BUSINESS plan for the long term. My strongest intention is to help your team operate at the highest level possible- to work COLLABORATIVELY to REACH YOUR GOALS.
